Footballers brought festive cheer to a hospital ward by handing out early Christmas presents to youngsters.
Peterborough United players met children at Peterborough City Hospital (PCH).
The club and the Posh Foundation surprised the patients with presents from a local toy shop.
Posh goalkeeper Jed Steer said it had been a "magical day" for all involved and put "a smile on all of our faces" including children who will be away from home for Christmas.
Steer told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "We are giving out presents to lots of children who are unfortunately here in hospital.
"We are here to try to cheer them up and put a smile on their faces...it has been so magical."
Play service co-ordinator on the children's ward, Zoe Wilkinson, said the club brought "lovely presents" and the day made a difference to parents and children.
"Its been brilliant," she said.
"It really makes the children happy and The Posh bring an element of joy for Christmas.
"They have been making the children smile, laugh and getting down to their level....it put a smile on their faces."
Assisstant manager Kieran Scarff said: "We are no different to any other football club.
"We are an important part of our community so it's important to play our part."
