The Prince of Wales joined the Welsh Guards at Salisbury Plain on Tuesday to oversee their preparations for operational duty.

On Sunday and into Monday, flooding caused widespread disruption across the county.

And young visitors are in for a "fairytale" treat at the National Trust's Mompesson House in Salisbury.

Here is a selection of pictures from across Wiltshire this week.

Follow the leader: The quartet of rare Amur tiger cubs were captured by keeper Ian Turner crossing the road in single file at the safari park in the winter sunshine. Born to mum Yana and dad Red in May, their arrival means Longleat has the most tigers in human care in the UK.

Damaging floods: Storm Bert swept through Wiltshire this week, bringing more than 80% of November's average monthly rainfall in less than 48 hours. Residents in Melksham, Chippenham and Bradford-on-Avon were among many communities faced with an extensive clean-up after the River Avon burst its banks.

Helping hands: Staff at carpet retailers Dible and Roy in Bradford-on-Avon had a long night ahead of them on Monday after the floods hit.

Not all bad: This Little Egret was spotted enjoying the floodwaters in Swindon, Wiltshire, on Tuesday.

New shoots: Dozens of trees and shrubs have been planted in Swindon this week as the Bus Boulevard scheme continues. The £33m work aims to give the town a greener, prettier and more functional bus station and is set for completion in summer 2025, 12 months later than scheduled.
