A nursery has improved its Ofsted rating from inadequate to good in four months.

Ofsted had previously given Puddleducks Under Fives in Telford, Shropshire, the lowest marks in every category in its report published in June.

But in a new report the nursery got a good overall mark.

Inspector Louise Chinyuku found the children to be "happy and generally settled" and the nursery's curriculum to be "rich".

Safeguarding had improved with the report saying: "Leaders have made changes to their whistle-blowing and complaints procedures, since their last inspection."

Similarly, an improvement was found in the nursery's accident record keeping.

Management at Puddleducks said it was pleased with the report and it represents the setting and care children always received.
