A leisure centre is celebrating a £150,000 refurbishment.
The gym at East Riding Leisure South Holderness, in Preston, is now about three times larger and includes new equipment, flooring and air conditioning.
Open days are being held on Saturday and Sunday, with free gym and swimming sessions.
The improvements demonstrated East Riding of Yorkshire Council's "commitment to the health and wellbeing" of residents, said Councillor Nick Coultish, the cabinet member for culture, leisure and tourism.
A later phase of work will include the refurbishment of changing rooms, general areas and meeting room, which will be available to hire during weekends.
A total of £240,000 is due to be spent on the renovations.
