Council tenants in east Devon have been invited to free workshops on using mobile phones and computers.
The monthly workshops in Exmouth and Axminster are aimed at helping people to use online messaging, make emergency calls on their mobile phones and to use the internet safely.
East Devon District Council is delivering the training in partnership with social enterprise, Cosmic.
Julie Hawker, Cosmic's chief, said: "Digital inclusion... is the foundation upon which we build stronger, more resilient communities."
'Empower our tenants'
Ms Hawker said the courses will prevent people from "being sidelined in the swiftly evolving digital realm".
The first workshops in Exmouth will take place on 4 June at Palmer House and in Axminster at Millwey Community Centre. on 17 June.
Councillor Dan Ledger said: “Hopefully these sessions will empower our tenants, allow them to gain vital skills and build confidence with the use of technology.”
People interested in taking part should contact the communities team of East Devon District council, Mr Ledger added.
