Arrest over suspected high street stabbing

A 42-year-old man has been arrested after a suspected stabbing in a town's high street.
Dorset Police said the victim, a man aged in his 20s, was found on Poole High Street with injuries to his arm on Tuesday shortly before 03:00 BST.
He was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The force said the man from Poole had been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery, affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He remains in custody.
