A mid-terraced house has been severely damaged by fire.
Crews were called to a "well-developed" blaze on Thirsk Road in Corby at about 16:00 BST on Thursday.
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service said the home and neighbouring properties had been evacuated before arrival and no-one was hurt.
At the height of the blaze, five pumps were at the scene tackling the flames. It was put under control by 19:00.
Nearby residents were advised to close their windows and doors after thick smoke engulfed the area.
Crews remained on site until about 02:00 on Friday to dampen the scene and used thermal imaging cameras to monitor hotspots.
An investigation is under way after to determine the cause of the blaze, the service confirmed.
