Man arrested after death of baby in Aberdeen

The baby died at Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital

A man has been arrested after the death of a baby in Aberdeen.

Police said officers were made aware of an injured two-month-old boy who had been taken to Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital on 11 June.

He died a short time later.

Police Scotland said a 32-year-old man had now been arrested in connection with the death, and released pending further inquiries.
