Police are appealing for information after electronic goods including mobile phones were stolen from a moving lorry.

Northamptonshire Police said the vehicle was "intercepted" by criminals on its route between Wellingborough and Coventry on 14 October.

The lorry had left GXO in Wellingborough at about 12:40 BST, travelling along the A45 westbound, between junctions 15a and 17 of the M1 northbound and then the M45 towards Coventry, where it arrived at about 01:45.

Detectives said the theft was "likely" to have occurred while the vehicle was moving and have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
