West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service says the scene has been made safe

A car has flipped on to its side during the rush hour in a West Sussex town.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the crash in Worthing just before 08:30 GMT on Friday.

Only one vehicle was involved in the crash on Wallace Avenue, a fire service spokesperson said.

Firefighters "made the scene safe" and left at 09:00, they said.
