An 18-year-old who died following a stabbing in Leicester has been named as Codie Bambrick.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Glazebrook Road, New Parks, just before 13:15 BST on Wednesday.
The victim was treated for his injuries by air ambulance medics but was pronounced dead at the scene, Leicestershire Police said.
Two boys, aged 17, who were arrested on suspicion of murder, remain in custody.
Detectives said a post-mortem examination had confirmed Mr Bambrick died as a result of a stab wound.
In a statement, Mr Bambrick's family said: "Words can't describe the grief we're feeling.
"In the last day or so, our world has been turned upside down.
"Codie was loved by all of us and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
"We'd urge anyone who can help police with their investigation to contact them.
"While we're grateful to the support we've received since we received this terrible news, we'd ask that our privacy is respected at this time."
Two other men, aged 36 and 17, and a 38-year-old woman who were each arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, also remain in custody.
A 52-year-old male who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has since been released under investigation.
Detectives are continuing to carry out enquiries across the New Parks area, while officers from the West Leicester Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA) are continuing to carry out reassurance patrols.
