Two youths, aged 14 and 18, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing on Monday.

The victim, who was also 18, was found with multiple wounds in King Street in Dawley, Telford, and taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

West Mercia Police said the pair were arrested on Tuesday and remain in police custody.

Det Ch Insp Jo Whitehead said: "I would like to thank those who have come forward with information that has helped officers investigating the incident, which has led to two arrests."

The force said it still wanted to hear from anyone who might have witnessed the attack.
