Man arrested following deliberate house fire

Firefighters extinguished the blaze

A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a deliberate house fire in Inverness.

The blaze happened at about 23:40 on Sunday 12 October at a property on Kessock Avenue.

The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no-one was injured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said the arrested man was expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court.
