Cyclist in hospital after being found unconscious

A cyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after he was found unconscious.
Members of the public found the man, who had been riding a bicycle, opposite the BP Garage on London Road in Stroud, Gloucestershire at 10:00 GMT, police said.
The cyclist, a man in his 60s, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment for his serious injuries.
Gloucestershire Police said it is currently unknown how he became injured and it is believed he may have been unconscious for around 30 minutes before he was found.
The force said the man had left Five Valleys at around 09:15. He had been wearing a distinctive fluorescent yellow jacket, helmet and backpack along with blue trousers.
Anyone who was in the area or saw the man riding his bicycle is urged to make contact.
