Police raid £700k cannabis farm after tip-off
- Published
A cannabis farm packed with plants believed to be worth more than £700,000 has been raided by police.
Officers discovered the drugs factory spread across three rooms at a terraced house at Judson Court, Huntingdon, on 1 November.
Cambridgeshire Police said the seizure followed concerns raised by members of the public.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing, the force added.
A spokesperson said: "Neighbourhood officers discovered the cannabis factory in Judson Court earlier this month and seized 735 plants, with a street value of more than £700,000, along with growing equipment across three rooms."
Police said signs a property might be a cannabis factory include:
Frequent visitors at anti-social hours
Blacked-out windows or condensation on the windows when it is not cold outside
Bright lights in a room throughout the night
A powerful, distinctive sweet aroma and noise from fans
