A large plastic mannequin, ladder and stairgate are among the items fly-tipped at a beauty spot on Dartmoor, police have said.

Ivybridge and Rural Police said the dumped waste was found at Cadover on Wednesday.

Officers urged people to "always go with a reputable company" for waste clearance and to always ask for official paperwork.

They added: "This not only looks horrendous, it damages and kills wildlife."
