Appeal after man stabbed for challenging feet on seat

Police are looking to speak to a man who was on bus route 64

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to after another man in his fifties was stabbed on a bus in south London.

Officers say a man boarded a route 64 bus in Croydon shortly after 03:00 BST on Tuesday, 4 June.

He then placed his feet on the seats and was confronted about it by the victim.

After a brief struggle, police say the victim was stabbed a number of times in his leg.

The attacker then left the bus at East Croydon train station.

The injured man took himself to a hospital with knife injuries and police were then called.

The man police would like to speak to was on bus route 64.

Detectives have said they would like anyone with information to come forward.
