Two teenagers have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed.

Leicestershire Police said officers were called to the area of Forest Rise, Eden Close and Eden Road in Oadby, at about 15:30 GMT on Monday following a report of a fight.

The force said the injured boy was found to have a stab wound which was not life-threatening or life-changing.

Police said two other boys, aged 16 and 15, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and later released on bail.

Officers have appealed for witnesses to contact them.

Det Sgt Kirsty Yearby said: "I'm particularly keen to speak to anyone who might've filmed the fight on a mobile phone or captured it on a dashcam, doorbell or CCTV camera."
