Boy, 16, charged over knifepoint robbery

A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with robbery.

He is accused of robbing a 17-year-old boy near Middlesbrough railway station on Sunday 3 March.

The accused boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

He was remanded on conditional bail and is due back in court later this month.
