A town centre car park has reopened after it was badly damaged in a crash which saw two pedestrians airlifted to hospital.

St John's car park in Northampton has been closed since it was hit by a black Seat Leon at about 15:30 BST on 18 October.

A man and woman in their 20s were struck by the car on Swan Street before it collided with the car park.

The driver, 23-year-old Joshua Coulton, of Military Court, Northampton, has admitted offences including causing injury by dangerous driving. He is due to be sentenced on 2 December.
