Further closures on A63 during safety upgrades
- Published
Overnight closures along a stretch of the A63 in East Yorkshire are due to return next month during safety upgrade work.
National Highways are working to replace the safety barrier and road lighting between South Cave and North Ferriby. The footbridge at Elloughton is also being resurfaced.
The overnight closures, which have been lifted for the Christmas period, are set to be reintroduced on the westbound carriageway between 20:00 and 06:00 Monday to Friday from 7 to 28 January.
An additional eastbound lane closure will also be in place during this period for workforce safety.
National Highways said the dates and directions are subject to change depending on weather and work progress.
The work is scheduled to be completed by spring 2025.
