New duty-free shop opens in ferry terminal

A new duty-free shop has opened in Jersey.
The shop in the Elizabeth Harbour Terminal is available for ferry passengers after they have passed through security.
Harbour master Captain Bill Sadler said it was one of "a number of changes" planned for the terminal "to improve the experience for passengers".
Boatfayre has run a duty-free service selling alcohol, drinks, tobacco and locally-produced goods to passengers arriving on visiting boats for 21 years.
Capt Sadler added: "The shop which used to be at the terminal closed during Covid and we have been looking for an opportunity to open a similar service since then."
