Three teenagers have been charged with murdering a 26-year-old man who was stabbed in Manchester.

Vernard Murray was attacked on Cardinal Street in the Cheetham Hill area of the city on Thursday afternoon.

Lee Williams, 19, John Harte, 18, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons are due before Manchester Magistrates Court, according to a post on X, external by Greater Manchester Police.

Emergency services were called to the scene but, despite resuscitation attempts, Mr Murray later died in hospital.
