The next stage of major roadworks to increase capacity at a junction is starting.

Progress on Wokingham Borough Council's South Wokingham Distributor Road, external project means the closure point from the eastern end of Molly Millars Lane is being moved to the northern entrance of Finchampstead Road.

The authority said it had made "good progress" on building a new roundabout there, which would "significantly improve traffic flows in the area".

Work in Molly Millars Lane started in July and the next phase is expected to last until early 2026. Diversions will be in place.

Finchampstead Road remains open as normal north of the railway bridge.
