The family of a pedestrian killed in a road crash have described her as a "loving wife and mother".

Emergency services were called at 14:30 GMT on 19 November to a collision between a white Nissan GTR and Mary Kinsey on Church Road in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

The 74-year-old, who was from the town, was taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance, where she died.

Lewis Meadows, of Cliff Road, Felixstowe, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and is due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court in December.

In a statement Mrs Kinsey's family said: "Mary was a loving wife to husband Ken and mother to sons Mark and Jonathan.

"She enjoyed meeting her friends and going for walks along the prom in her hometown.

"Mary was caring and loved helping other people.

"Mary was taken from us in a terrible collision and will sadly by missed by so many."
