Witness sought after boy killed in e-bike crash

A key witness is sought to a crash in which a 16-year-old boy on an e-bike was killed.
The collision, between an e-bike and two cars, took place in Chilwell Lane, Bramcote, at 10:10 BST on 28 September. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving remains on police bail.
Nottinghamshire Police is appealing for a black male who stopped at the scene but has not been traced. They also want to hear from anyone with dashcam footage or who saw the vehicles involved in the moments before the collision.
The boy's family members continue to be supported by specially-trained officers, police added.
Det Sgt Charlotte Henson, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: "We know this potentially key witness stopped at the scene but have so far been unable to trace him.
"I'd appeal directly to him to get in touch as we want to take his account.
"The boy's family have been through a heartbreaking ordeal and we want to understand exactly what happened so we can answer their questions."
