A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Leeds.
Police were called to the Harehills area of the city on Wednesday just after 12:00 BST to reports a man had been thrown from a vehicle onto a driveway on St Wilfrids Crescent.
The 19-year-old man, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
West Yorkshire Police said an 18-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday morning and remained in custody.
The force said the man's family had been informed and were being supported.
A spokesperson said initial inquiries suggest the victim had been injured in an altercation in Parkside View, Seacroft, before being driven to the Harehills area.
They said a dark-coloured Ford Focus, believed to be involved in the incident, had been recovered from Amberton Crescent in Gipton.
Scenes remained in place at Parkside View and Amberton Crescent, they added.
Det Ch Insp Matt Holdsworth said it was a "very serious incident in which a young man has lost his life".
"While the motive at this time remains unclear, we believe this was a targeted attack.
"We are working with the local neighbourhood policing team and patrols have been increased in the area to provide reassurance."
He has asked anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the areas mentioned to contact officers.
