Views are being sought on a potential move to pay the States of Alderney president.

The island's government has launched a survey asking for feedback from the public as part of a review on policies around remunerating the role.

Currently, the president receives no money for the role except for allowances for States business.

The survey, which can be completed completed online, external, or via paper copies available at Island Hall, is due to close on 2 October. A separate consultation to consider remunerating States members was launched earlier in September.
