A man who went missing after a report of a concern for safety has been found, police have said.

Philip Lewis, 39, from Stockbridge Village, Knowsley, was last seen in the Bootle area around 05:45 GMT.

He was found by Merseyside Police after the force issued the appeal to find him.

It comes after they received a report of a concern for the safety of a man at the Post Office on Park Lane in the Bootle and Netherton area at around 06:30 GMT on Friday.
