A section of the M1 has reopened after a serious crash in Nottinghamshire.
The northbound carriageway of the M1 was closed between junctions 25 and 26 just after 19:00 BST on Friday.
Both slip roads at junction 26 near Nuthall were shut in both directions and the A610 from Nuthall Interchange - where the crash took place - to the roundabout with Woodhouse Way was also closed.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police confirmed the road reopened on Saturday morning.
The force previously said the incident was serious and advised drivers to avoid the area.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service was also called to the scene on Friday and confirmed crews assisted police.
The police have been contacted for further information.
