A man in his 70s has died after being hit by a car on Mount Harry Road, Sevenoaks

A Kent man has died after being hit by a car while crossing the road on Tuesday, 12 August.

Kent Police say they are investigating after the man, in his 70s, was struck by a red Mazda in Mount Harry Road, Sevenoaks at the junction with Dartford Road at around 13:30 BST.

The man died in hospital on Wednesday 20 August and an investigation has now been launched by the force's serious collision investigation unit.

Motorists in the area at the time are being urged to contact Kent Police.
