Stereophonics and Sting have wowed the crowds during their headline slots at the Isle of Wight Festival.

The Welsh rockers took to the main stage on Saturday having previously headlined the Newport event in 2004, 2009 and 2016.

Fronted by lead singer Kelly Jones, Stereophonics played many of their most successful singles, including Have A Nice Day and Dakota.

Sting performed a set of his greatest hits during a one-and-a-half-hour slot, starting with fan favourite Message In A Bottle. The former The Police frontman told the audience it was a "historic festival".
