Six bailed after man stabbed in city street

Five men and one boy have been released on bail after a man was stabbed in Leicester.
Officers were called following a report a man had been assaulted by a group of men near to the junction with Pindar Road at 15:33 GMT on Wednesday.
The victim was taken to hospital with non life-threatening or life changing "stab and slash" wounds and has since been discharged.
A total of five men, who are 18, 20, 23, 24 and 26 years old, and a 16-year-old boy, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Leicestershire Police said officers were still available to talk about any concerns from residents, adding an investigation into the incident was "very much ongoing".
