A swimming club in Jersey has celebrated its 50th anniversary with an aerial photoshoot.
The Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club (JLDSC) gathered at Ouaisné to capture pictures of club members in the sea and making the shape of the number 50 in the sand.
Four of the club's presidents featured in the images, collectively spanning a service period from 1983 to the present day.
The club said it hoped many more swimmers would "join them as they continue to plunge into the spirit of sea swimming".
The JLDSC said: "Throughout the years the presidents have been supported by committee members of past and present, who give their time voluntarily, ensuring that the club continues to provide sea swimming opportunities for members old and new."
It added the club also celebrates the success of swimmers who have endured the Round Jersey Swim, a 36-mile open water challenge that can take between 10 and 12 hours to complete.
The JLDSC said: "Some of the successes for this year include a four-person relay team P.E.G.S. who completed [the challenge] in 10 hours 51minutes.
"Team Royal Air Force who finished in 9 hours 21 mins, setting a new speed record for a four-person relay.
"Finnish swimmer Telle Maukonen in 11 hours 48 mins and Jonty Warneken a UK para-athlete amputee who finished in 11 hours 33 mins."
