Seven arrests over reports of city centre attack

Seven people have been arrested after a man in his 60s suffered serious head injuries in Birmingham city centre.
Officers were called to reports of a man being attacked on Bennetts Hill shortly after 21:00 BST on Saturday.
His head injuries were initially thought to be life-threatening, said West Midlands Police, which is appealing for witnesses as it continues to investigate at the scene.
Three men aged 23, and four women, aged between 20 and 24, remain in custody on suspicion of wounding.
