A man and a woman have been charged after another man was found seriously injured at a flat in Aberdeen.

Officers were called to the property on Jasmine Terrace at about 14:10 on Saturday following reports of a disturbance.

A 39-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after he was found seriously injured. His condition has been described as stable.

A 51-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the incident and are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
