A third man has been found guilty of murdering a 21-year-old who was found dead in a stream.

Owen Fairclough was found near Risley Lane in Breaston, Derbyshire on 23 June 2023 with a cut throat and two stab wounds to his body.

David Oswald, 31, of Granville Square in Birmingham, and another man, who cannot be named for legal reasons and is being referred to as Man A, were found guilty of murder and possession of an offensive weapon at Derby Crown Court on Tuesday.

A jury found another man, who also cannot be named for legal reasons and is known as Man B, guilty of murder in the same court on Friday.

Jack Towell, 22, of Castle Boulevard in Nottingham, pleaded guilty to murder and possession of an offensive weapon during the trial.

The jury previously heard that Mr Fairclough arrived in Breaston on 21 June 2023 and met Towell, who lured him to a "secluded spot" where Oswald and Man A were "lying in wait".

His body was found by a group of teenagers two days later.

The four men are due to be sentenced at Derby Crown Court on Monday.
