A man has died in a serious crash on one of Birmingham's main roads.
West Midlands Police said two men, 27 and 24, were arrested after the three-car crash on the A38(M) Aston Expressway just after midnight on Sunday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two arrested men were held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remained in custody, police said.
The force said officers were looking at CCTV and dashcam footage and keen to hear from anyone with information.
Det Sgt Paul Hughes said: "Our thoughts are with the family of the man that has sadly passed away."
The A38(M) Aston Expressway was closed in both directions after the crash between junction six of the M6 to Dartmouth Circus.
At 12:45 BST, National Highways confirmed the road had reopened in both directions and there were no delays in the area.
