A number of train services between Kent and London have been cancelled because of a shortage of available crew.

Southeastern said the 15:40 BST service from St Pancras to Margate had been cancelled, along with the 17:21 from Ramsgate to St Pancras, the 19:20 from St Pancras to Ramsgate, the 21:49 from Margate to St Pancras, the 22:08 from Ramsgate to Ashford International, and the 23:40 from St Pancras to Ashford International.

The 17:49 from Margate to St Pancras will also start at Ashford International, while the 20:04 from St Pancras to Ramsgate will terminate at Ashford International.

Southeastern said in a statement: "Where possible, we are adding additional carriages to trains to provide extra space for passengers wanting to travel to and from London."

The 23:07 St Pancras to Dover service has been moved to 23:40 to maintain customer connections from the cancelled services.

Replacement buses will also run at 22:08 from Ramsgate to Ashford via Dover Priory, and at 23:25 from Ashford to St Pancras.
