A community nurse has been jailed for ill-treating three teenage cancer patients in her care.
Emma Sinclair, 30, of Desborough Road, Eastleigh, previously admitted three counts of ill-treatment and wilful neglect of an individual, relating to offences on 6 February 2024, when she was working as a nurse supporting children with cancer.
She was given a 15-month jail sentence and a 10-year restraining order, preventing contact with the victims, at a hearing at Southampton Crown Court.
Hampshire police said Sinclair "abused her trusted position in the most serious way".
Passing sentence, Judge Peters told Sinclair: "You have completely failed in your work as a trained nurse in the care of these children.
"You have lacked genuine remorse and have made numerous attempts to avoid responsibility for what had happened."

Speaking after the sentencing, police staff investigator, Rebecca Stevens paid tribute to the "bravery and support" of the victims.
"Sinclair abused her trusted position in the most serious way and has now been held accountable for her actions," she said.
"While I know today's sentencing won't rid the victims and family members of the memories of what happened to them, I truly hope the justice handed down is of some comfort to them as they look to the future."
