No court proceedings will take place after two people were taken to hospital following a dog attack in Aberdeen.

A 70-year-old woman and 73-year-old man were injured in the incident in the Corrennie Circle area of the city in January last year.

They were treated at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) said a report relating to a 23-year-old man had been received, but that after "careful consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case" it had been decided there should be no proceedings taken at this time.
