The family of a man found dead in a garden have paid tribute to him as "a sweet guy who really loved his family".

Benjamin Swift, 39, was discovered in Whiterow Park, Trowbridge, on 25 August at about 21:30 BST - paramedics attempted to revive him but he died at the scene.

Two men aged 61 and 41 were initially arrested on suspicion of murder, but now face no further action after police concluded Mr Swift's death was not suspicious.

His partner Cheyanne said on Wednesday: "I feel really lucky to have known him and have been part of his life."

In a tribute, she said the father of three would do anything for his children.

"Benjamin was a talented joiner, who spent his whole life in Wiltshire. He learned his trade after leaving school and being taken on as an apprentice.

"He really loved his job," she said.

'Never forgotten'

"He always had a lot of time for the children and would build all sorts of things for them - he loved gardening and playing football with them. He was a real family man."

She continued: "I know he will be missed by a great many people.

"I feel really lucky to have known him and to have been part of his life. And I know there are so many people who feel the same.

"Benjamin will never be forgotten."
