A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of arson after an explosion at a house in Leeds.

Police were called following reports of a fire and an explosion at a house on Seaforth Road in Harehills at 04:05 BST on Sunday.

All occupants were evacuated from the damaged building, with one person suffering minor injuries, according to West Yorkshire Police.

The property had been assessed by Leeds City Council and an investigation into the fire was ongoing, the force said.
