Hull KR sell out rival's stadium in record time

All tickets for the Clash of the Champions game were snapped up in the pre-sale

Hull KR reports all tickets for their Clash of the Champions match against Brisbane Boncos have been sold - and claimed a new attendance record for the MKM Stadium.
All 24,600 tickets for the match on 19 February 2026 have been sold before going on general release.
The Robins said the current attendance record for a rugby league game at the venue - the home of Hull FC - was set in 2007 when 23,000 fans watched the city derby.
Hull KR's chief executive Paul Lakin said the sell-out was "a truly phenomenal achievement and testament to so much work behind the scenes, and our loyal fanbase".
Hull KR also claimed it is fastest-selling World Club Challenge.
Mr Lakin thanked fans for their support and said it "promises to be a magnificent occasion".
He added: "We can't wait to show the world what we, and the city of Hull, are all about."

Hull KR fans celebrate winning the rugby league treble last season
Nigel Wood, chairman of RL Commercial, which promotes the sport, said the sell-out was a "reflection of the feel-good factor" at Hull KR after their treble-winning season of 2025, and was also "further evidence of the appeal of major international Rugby League events".
He added: "It's captured the imagination not only of Hull KR's growing support base, but of the city of Hull and of rugby league fans."
It is the second consecutive sell-out for a Betfred World Club Challenge in England, after Wigan Warriors announced all tickets sold for their victory over Penrith Panthers in February 2024.
Just a week after taking on Brisbane Broncos, Hull KR will head to Las Vegas to take on Leeds Rhinos in the so-called 'Battle of Yorkshire'.
