A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing at a north London Underground station.
Officers were called to Seven Sisters station in Haringey at about 08:45 BST on Tuesday following reports of a serious assault.
The victim, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital with "life-threatening injuries consistent with being stabbed", where his condition is stable, British Transport Police (BTP) said.
A 15-year-old girl who was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent has been released on police bail.
A spokesperson for BTP said: "While attempting to evade arrest, a 20-year-old man from Tottenham sustained injuries that are not believed to be life-changing.
"He has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder; he is receiving medical care."
A woman, aged 18, and a 17-year-old boy were also arrested but have been released with no further action.
The station has now completely reopened following a forensic investigation.
Det Supt Sam Blackburn said: “There is no place for violence on the rail network and detectives are working at pace to investigate the circumstances of this incident.
“The travelling public will see increased high-visibility patrols in the area and across the network as a visible reassurance."
Police have urged witnesses to come forward.
