A man has been arrested following a stabbing in a Grimsby park.
Police said a man suffered stab wounds to his side and back shortly before 21:15 BST on Sunday, in the Duke of York Gardens area near Richard Street.
He was taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries, which officers initially believed were life-threatening.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Insp Gary Johnson, of Humberside Police, said officers believed it was an isolated incident "between individuals known to each other".
“A scene guard was in place at Boulevard Park, and whilst this has now been lifted, local residents can expect to [see] an increase in policing presence in the area," he said.
"I would encourage anyone with information, or anyone with concerns, to please come and speak to us."
He appealed for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage captured at the time of the incident to contact the force.
