Motorists warned of island-wide icy conditions

A warning for frost and ice has been issued across the Isle of Man

Drivers have been warned of a risk of icy conditions on roads across the Isle of Man after sundown.

The Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning from 17:00 GMT until 03:00 Wednesday.

Forecasters said temperatures would "quickly fall" to below 0C (32F) after sunset, which would lead to a "widespread frost as well as some icy patches".

The conditions were expected to affect evening commuters, but temperatures are would rise before sunrise, they said.
