A 14-year-old boy is among a number of people arrested in South Yorkshire following the recent disorder in Rotherham.

Officers visited the homes of several suspects on Wednesday and made a further seven arrests after reviewing hours of CCTV, social media and body-worn video footage.

South Yorkshire Police said 15 people have now been charged after violence outside the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Manvers on Sunday.

The incident left 58 officers injured, as well as police dogs and horses, after missiles, including concrete blocks, glass bottles and planks of woods, were thrown at them.
