Absconded prisoner found after police search

A man, who absconded from an open prison in Lincolnshire, has been found.

Aaron Wood, 54, was reported missing from North Sea Camp in Boston just before 08:00 BST on Monday.

Lincolnshire Police said Wood was located in North Somercotes, near Mablethorpe, at around 18:00 BST on Tuesday following a call from a member of the public.

He has since been charged with escape from lawful custody and possession of a knife, a police spokesperson said.
