The Percy Pud race is held every December in the Loxley area of Sheffield

A popular festive 10km race attracted 3,103 runners after returning from cancellation due to poor weather in 2023.
The Percy Pud event in Sheffield took place in the Loxley Valley on Sunday morning, with Tommy Power winning with a time of 30.02 minutes and Fran Collet being the first woman in 34.49.
The course record for a male runner is 28.59 minutes and 31.48 for a female runner, set by Eilish McColgan, who went on to compete in the Commonwealth Games.
The 30th edition of the race was called off last year after heavy snowfall, but race director Richard Dunk, who has been in charge of the event for 24 years, said organisers had done "all they could" to make sure it could go ahead this year.

All participants are given a Christmas pudding
The race is known for its tradition of participants being given a Christmas pudding.
After a recent cold snap, the weather conditions for Sunday were expected to be no more than light rain and a moderate breeze.
First contested in 1993 by 600 people, Percy Pud attracts entrants of all abilities.
This year, a fridge magnet and a beanie hat were also handed to finishers by organisers Steel City Striders Running Club.
All road closures and diversions to allow the race to happen have since been removed.
